St Doulagh's Church

- Free to visit
St Doulagh’s Church is located in Kinsealy, County Dublin, and was previously home to a Medieval monastic settlement. St Doulagh, who was a hermit, founded the monastic settlement in the 7th century at this site. St Doulagh’s Church is the oldest stone-roofed church still in use in Ireland.
The present structure was built in 1864 and includes part of a church thought to be from the 12th century.
Outside, visitors can see St Doulagh’s well, a detached baptistry and St Catherine’s Pond, an open air pool.
Tours are available from May to September on Sundays from 14:30 - 17:30. Tours can be arranged at other times for school, families, historical societies and heritage groups.
