About this event

This conversation will delve into the creative process, research journey, and the collaborative effort that brought the tour to life.

Hear from Dr. El Reid Buckley, the historian and researcher commissioned to create the tour, and Dr. Mary McAuliffe, historian and advisor on this project, who will discuss uncovering and presenting LGBTQIA+ narratives within the Museum’s collections. This talk will reflect on the challenges faced, the considerations involved, and the significance of engaging with a wide range of organisations and individuals from across the LGBTQIA+ community.
